The food is authentically, gloriously Greek: generous portions, incredibly fresh ingredients, and prices that feel almost too reasonable.
Expect to queue, especially after 7pm — they don't take reservations. Arrive around 6pm to walk straight in. Most people say it's the best meal they eat on Paros, and many go back twice.
Zucchini balls, moussaka, grilled octopus, seafood giouvetsi, and the portokalopita (orange cake) for dessert.

There's no printed menu — she welcomes you into the open kitchen and shows you what she's made that day, all from her family farm and a trusted local fisherman. Fruit, vegetables, wine and cheese come straight from the land; the fish from the sea that morning.
The food is grandmother's cooking at its absolute finest: moussaka, stuffed vine leaves, lemon veal, meatballs, and her legendary orange pie. Many guests who stay in the south of the island end up eating here every night. It's that kind of place.

Everything you need day-to-day is within a few minutes of Milos House. Here's what's nearby.
Kritikos Supermarket — 5 min by car, on the outskirts of Alyki just past the old airport. Excellent bakery next door. Your go-to for everything.
Both in Alyki village, 5 minutes away. Fresh local catch and good quality local meat. Worth visiting early in the day before stock runs low.
Pharmacy and ATM both in Alyki village. The pharmacy is well-stocked for basics. The nearest larger pharmacy and bank are in Paroikia (20 min).
Several Reverse Osmosis dispensers in Paroikia — the nearest is next to the chemist and butcher in Alyki. Bring containers to refill. Jugs will be filled for you on arrival.
Medical centre and hospital in Paroikia (20 min). For emergencies call 166 (ambulance) or 112 (general emergency). Andi the housekeeper can help in any situation.
Recyclable rubbish at bins by the petrol station near Alyki or at the supermarket. Non-recyclable rubbish in the green bins around the island. Please empty bins when you leave.
